Malta Night with Malta Mike

Last night we had "Malta Night" hosted by our very own "Malta Mike" (thats me btw). Cooked up some traditional foods for some friends in the dorm. We were 8 in all so i wasnt cooking for that large a group, but its amazing how many pots and pans you can use for just 8 people.

On the menu we had:

Starters
- Bigilla shuna bnaqa zejt taz zebbuga u bil galletti
- Gbejna tal-bzar
- Zalzett Malti

Main Course:
- Imqarrun fil-Forn (bla bajd)

Dessert:
- Helwa tat-Tork li kont diga naqqart nofsha
- Karawett fil forn

Drink:
- Xi forma ta Sangria, jew kif nghidu ahna... "Sangrijja". Cheapest red wine, orange juice, sliced fresh orange, sprite, and fresh mint leaves for that slap in the face. This was obviously more mediterranean than Maltese, but i don't think they'd want any more Bajtra after last week's TDC.
